VC Baracchi Reliability Rides (Jan 11 and Feb 1) details

John Thompson sent the following to local clubs:-

“Thought I would let you know that my club’s 50-mile reliabilty rides are scheduled for Sunday 11th Jan – ROUTE OF 50 MILE RELIABILITY TRIAL and the 100-km rides for Sunday 1st Feb – ROUTE OF 100 KM.

The start/finish for both events is the Oulton Community Centre, Gorleston Rd, Oulton Broad.  The longer timings are of course for the 100-km rides: 4.5/4 hours, 8.30, 4/3.5 hours 9.00, 3.5/3 hours 9.30 am

I should clarify that our reliability rides are somewhat more ‘spartan’ than the Norwich ones.  The community centre is merely the start/finish point.  We don’t have access to the building as an HQ.  On our geographical limb we don’t get the numbers the Norwich club’s get to support paying a hire fee.  Also, last year was the first time we provided refreshments at the finish.  I can’t guarantee it it but my intention is t do so this year subject to the person being available.

Regular support from Norwich clubs could bring about some ‘upgrading!’
